Project Title: Establishment of a Photovoltaic Solar Park in Albania
Grant Amount: 2,530,000,000 HUF
Project Overview:
Gémtech Kft., in consortium partnership with its wholly owned subsidiary GEMTECH Albania Sh.p.k, is developing a 10 MW solar power plant in Albania. The project's goal is to continually increase the company’s presence and role in the Albanian renewable energy market. Through an investment of HUF 4.6 billion, the consortium aims to achieve an annual renewable energy production of 12 GWh.
The development is closely linked to achieving today's key energy efficiency goals, ensuring energy needs are met through the utilization of renewable energy, and effectively contributing to the enhanced strengthening of environmental considerations. It promotes the increased use of clean energy sources and supports the advancement of environmental awareness.
Planned Completion Date: March 30, 2025
The grant agreement was signed with the HEPA Hungarian Export Promotion Agency Nonprofit Private Limited Company on May 5, 2021.
On November 4, 2021, project implementation began, and the design and contracting agreement for the general construction was signed.
As of April 14, 2022, the project implementation site (Sheq Marinas) is available.
Building Permit Acquisition in Progress: Preliminary approval has been granted by the Albanian Ministry of Infrastructure and Energy. The connection request has been submitted to the network operator (OSHEE).
